Just in case you didn’t waste enough of your youth playing X-Com… Now, in OSS clone flavor:

Simple Margarita recipe

After some trial and error (and about 100 limes one night), this has become my new “personal” signature margarita recipe.

Ingredients:

16oz fresh squeezed lime juice (~8 good size limes)
6oz triple sec
10oz tequilla
1/4 – 1/2 cup granulated sugar
2-3oz Langer’s cran/ras concentrate (optional)

Dump everything into a 48oz blender and fill to the top with ice. Blend until the mixture looks like something that would come out of a 7-11 slushy machine. Serves ~6.

Grip, Flac, & Ogg

Ever get the feeling that everything you might want to do has already been and posted on the Internet? I was trying to figure out how to get flac to encode metadata into the flac/ogg files I was trying to generate, since grip 3.3.0 doesn’t do this out of the box. Of course, the Gentoo wiki came to the rescue.
